Topic 4: Cognitronics

Strategic Role

WP5 focuses on the cognitronics of brain-like circuitry and associated mechanisms of motor and sequence learning.

Objectives
  • Design, implemented and test a set of computationally oriented models comparable to neurobiological counterparts.
  • Implementation at a hardware embedded level, compatible with hexapod robot demonstrator HECTOR.
  • Implement algorithms of forward models that cancel with effects caused by the robot’s self-motion.
